met up with the old fella at 12.30pm on our local farm 10 mins from home he had been watching a flightline going on a stubble adjacent to the barley drilling we shot last sunday, some corvids using it also we both watched for a while and decided it was well worth a go, got set up and in place by 1.30pm settled in the hide and started shooting straight away they decoyed very well for a second week running, despite a fire engine turning up in the next field to put out a fire in a stack of bales probably started by kids and wagon loads of sewerage fertiliser being dumped on the stubble we were shooting they still came in my 10 year old nephew was in the hide with us and finished off any wounded birds with the air arms S200 he enjoyed it and it was his biggest bag whilst out with us this year, it dried up at 4.30pm but finished on a nice total of 94 woodies 6 mixed corvids and 1 feral only 5 corvids in the pic I picked a crow up on my way to fetch the car

Nice one'I like the idea of the Air gun "master" to do dispatch the wounded. That was the job I did 1st time pigeon shooting. I bet your lad loved it just as much as I did.

its how I started nearly 30 years ago

Well done Daz, brilliant result and I bet the young gun loved it . Half term soon watch your permissions

he did love it he's never seen us shoot that many when he's been out with us
