Guest stevo
Evening all Had another spot of luck today , while out and about , I spotted a great little line of birds piling onto an old bit of untouched bean stubble , set up at 12.00 and shot till 4.30 , had no dead birds , just 12 flexicoys in a random pattern , and bought the shot birds in as and when , birds responded to the pattern that well I didn't want to spoil it , using power pigeon 29 gram 6s with 1/4 and light full , I opted for this combination of choke as I had a great mixture of birds that decoyed great and a good deal flighting over high up . forgot to say 151 wood pigeon and 1 carion crow stevo https://photos-4.dropbox.com/t/2/AADwY9KV0orc3uGOWG0EJzRaV6eEDjOZtv8wvKjHUYL3YQ/12/87827546/jpeg/256x256/8_1180-0-3936-3936-5248-3936/1444514400/0/2/DSC_0302.JPG/ELn2obsBGEUgASgB/Npaxp4YRzwtIF-JvhDYSgn6G4-f_NFqqx0b8Amvg0pM%2CQjKBYHaXSTwUnsx1cEQkiiJmkaE3Gg19s1k13fhc0zc%2CQ-pplu3tOwZHP5xTqHLwB58FXghld_dLD_vvcOJNFl4?size_mode=3&size=2048x1536 Edited October 10, 2015 by stevo

marsh man
Excellent bag for the time of the year stevo, and for the amount of time you got them in I also used flexicoys today and pigeon power 6s,and as far as my chokes, I am not sure weather there the same as yours or a bit tighter , but what I do know what was different was the bag , if I had shot another 120 odd we would have been exactly the same

marsh man
I love flexicoys . Ive used them for yrs now . Yes there heavy and bulky . But to me they just look right . After the winter I give them all a wash and brush up and touch the neck and wing bars up with a drop of white undercoat and they look as good as new apart from some are perforated with shot and like stevo says , they are bulky and heavy but as far as full body decoys I haven't seen any that look better than flexicoys. The last three slabs of pigeon power I used had been plastic wads , the ones I am using now are fibre wads and to me they kick and crack a bit more but still kill the same , but after only using a few boxes I prefer the plastic wads . What ones do you use and have you tried them both ?

Have to say though my all time favorites are RC2 comp in 28grm 6s ( english 5.5) there cheap . Fast and by christ they dont half punch above there weight also Eley pigeon 32 grm in an english 6.5 .
