Tool belt hammer loop.

Any of my fellow tradesmen know why 99% of tool belts come with the hammer loop on the left hand side ? I need one with a right hand loop and they are rare as hens teeth. No need for a drill holster as mine have belt hooks. Four pouches and a chisel holder will be ample.

You can buy hammer loops which you can then fasten on either side of your belt.

I have no idea, mine has one on either side, but it's old and made from proper leather not suede. but you can buy the pouches , loops, and belt as separate items and make your own.

I have a makita pouch that's on its way out. I like the convenience of picking up a pouch rather than adding items to a belt.

I've got a "kunis" that's my spare, that has two hammer hoops too, they're a bit more spendy than a regular tool belt but they last.

I "THINK" the pouches predominantly come with the hammer holder on the left because originally they were designed for roofers who where them at the back thus leaving the hammer holster on the right hand side to suit the 90% right handed population, before im savaged it a "thought"/observance

When I use mine I always wear it on the back, that way the pockets are accessible all the time.

As said the loop is then on the right side.

I always make hammer loops out of a stainless brick tie.

Plus you don't kick everything out of your pouches and they don't get in the way when negotiating scaffolding, ladders etc.

Pricey but the tough built range is spot on. I have had mine a while now and the braces take all the weight of a nail gun off your waist leaving your trousers where they should be, hammer loop and other pouches can hook up where you want them. Being a lefty I can put things where I want as can you odd balls :-)
