Cyrus1988
Nail polish remover (acetone) would probably do the job, not too much though.
shoot and be safe
It usually just rubs off the ones in my pocket. That said they may have been in there for a while. Can you not just "over write" on them with your permanent marker?

wymberley
WD40. I've just tried it. How do you get rid of the WD40 which is primarily a water dispersant which might just prevent a water based ink from taking?
steve_b_wales
How do you get rid of the WD40 which is primarily a water dispersant which might just prevent a water based ink from taking? Wipe the case in a clean cloth. I tried this and then wrote on the case with an indelible marker pen. It worked!

activeviii
Yep, acetone is all I ever use. Takes seconds and degreases so you can write OS print back on hull
anser2
Not a good idea to use WD40. It can losen the primers which can then fall out.
steve_b_wales
Not a good idea to use WD40. It can losen the primers which can then fall out. Not if you are just wiping the case, as I did.
fortune
Not a good idea to use WD40. It can losen the primers which can then fall out. If your primers are that loose you should get some newer cases. The pockets must be well worn or you are using some random primer. When the reloader m/c fits a new 209 primer it is a tight drag fit into the pocket. The fit is that tight that you wouldn't be able to push one in with your thumb, so a bit of wd40 ain't going to make a primer fall out. if you have a situation where this is happening and you have primers that fall out please expand this problem so that we may know why it is happening

Uncle Albert
I use Fiocchi F Blue hulls to reload. Just tried the WD40 wipe and it didn't work. Mind you the hulls are slightly corrugated so the ink will sit in the troughs. Will try with an old toothbrush.

chris1961
Be careful as some solvents will melt the hull or soften the plastic
