sako751sg
If you don't like it then don't do it, but to criticise those who do is simply ridiculous. Each to their own. Happens every time.If its not illegal then why worry? Like arguing with antis at times.

Davyo
OMG this really makes me laugh,we babble on constantly about legislation and things being imposed on us,yet the pigeon watch masses try and tell a bloke when he can and can't shoot. craftycarper
Don't bother me either, vermins vermin, I've shot pigeon and rabbit, and even been out fishing on xmas day. Best time for it, place is empty as every other suckers stuffing their turkey....if you get my drift
Muddy Funker
To me it is all about morals and respect if you don't have any you will shoot on Christmas day.Bit like shooting through the 2 minute silence in November Really? Respecting what? I doubt pigeons or rabbits celebrate Christmas. My belief is that if it's allowed people should be free to do it if they wish. HW100 out of the back door and an unexpected retrieve for the lab!! It will now be part of the starter on New Years Day(not the dog) .... if that's OK? brett1985
each to their own imho... think you would struggle to justify not shooting on Christmas day to someone who is in no way religious. my apprentice is a Jehovah witness and doesn't celebrate Christmas, neither do 2 of our techs who are strong atheist's (1 of which is a shooter and from a farming family, so vermin control goes on all year round) see where im coming from? Benthejockey
I'd say the biggest proviso of shooting Xmas day is whether your significant other would shoot you if you went out shooting.

That's what is wrong with this country stuff everybody else I am going to do what I want to do.I suppose after you have watched Thumper and Bambi on the Disney channel you think the bunny wunnies stand respectfully silent for two minutes silence in November it is out of respect for humans not the animals. It is true what they say, common sense is not very common these days.God help us

I also think likening Shooting on Christmas day to shooting through a 2 minute silence ridiculous. I can't really comment on the Disney channel tripe as I haven't got a sky subscription. toontastic
and bother no one . I think this quote says it all, if you haven't got anything better to do and it's not bothering anyone then what's the problem.
