Had one for 5 years cleaned it a bit to sell it and found it had a 10 disc auto changer never new it was there

Anyway felt a bit bad so I gave mine a clean

Very proud of it now

I shall do the floor next month

Ages mate I chucked the Hoover in ther for two hours that was useless😟

so I got the cocker in there and teased him a bit old tail going like a good un job done in less than 5 minuites 😋

held a meat pie by the windscreen and his tounge soon sorted that out bit of slobber but not to bad 😂

How's yours coming on 😂😂

To be honest I'm a bit jealous would love a clean motor but it just can't happen with my lifestyle

Its American so some of the products will differ but the how to do it section is great. By the time you have worked your way thgrough that lot you will be an expert

I had a Range Rover once as a company car, had it for 18 months and never once washed, hoovered or even had it serviced. Returned it with 80K on the clock. Still can't believe it never broke down one despite it apparently having a totally dry dip stick.

I like to use half a dozen Eastern Europeans. I find the results even just after 10 minutes most pleasing and all for a tenner.

A tenner! The same lot up here in Yorkshire do it for a fiver AND you get a smelly thing to hang on your mirror .

Just drive oop north and back every week. It's always raining up there. Takes care of the outside. No worries. Been doing it for years.

Not stricty a car-related Q, but...

 

I need to polish some white ABS plastic panels (OK, it's a Stormtrooper outfit )

 

What will be the best thing to use? Obviously need to be very careful to ensure the plastic isn't discoloured as a result... Just need to make it shiny.

The waterless car cleaners like Greased Lightening Showroom Shine or similar, (Williams do one as well) may be worth a try.

I use Showroom Shine for UPVC window frames and it cleans them very well. Leaves a layer of Carnuba wax to repel water.

It's also about the only thing I can clean my fake granite shiny work tops with that doesn't leave loads of streaks.

power wash....broom and bucket and washing up liquid....powerwash off ....dry...(drive down the road)....then spray with old engine oil...job done...
