blasterjudd
Lovely stock but is the chequering crisp and sharp as the photos appear to show its been totally worn away ?
subsonicnat
Lovely stock but is the chequering crisp and sharp as the photos appear to show its been totally worn away ? I think you will find the chequering is of the FLAT Flavour, its square not pointed.. And was never intended to be sharp..

Salop Matt
I wish........ Although I would have some choke taken out myself to 1/2 & 3/4 or 1/2 & 1/2. very nice gun there for someone !
SiviterJ
The stock has been replaced. I do have to original stock aswell that will go with the gun!! The checkering is in line with the period of gun. The checkering is very clean as is the stock. I am open to sensible offers but don't want to give it away. SiviterJ
Thanks mate!!! It was me that did it 👍 I am stock refinisher by trade and decided to restock this one just because it deserved it. SiviterJ
Barrels are mint!!! No pitting at all. Top and bottom rid sound. They may have been sleeved but difficult to tell. It's not a bad thing anyway even if they have!!
Dick
If it's been sleeved it should have it stamped on the barrel flats......together with the re-proofing marks. It looks a nice gun, if I was closer I might be interested. Might help if you provided a comprehensive list of all of the restoration work done. Feltwad
A good looking gun a pity if it has being resleeved and re stocked that only leaves the action has a true Cashmore. Feltwad
SiviterJ
Thank you for your feedback!!! It's all about keeping these old side X sides alive. Just for the record it hasn't been sleeved and it comes with the original stock. Best regards
viking
Iv just realised who this chap is, thought I recognised the name. He did re-did the stock and forend on my miroku mk38 grade 5, and what a fantastic job he did to. Not even sure where I found him but saw some of his work before hand. I'd defiantly recommend him if you needed any work doing on your stock/forend.
