Servicing the ER5, need some 10w40 4T oil. Cheapest I can get near me is around £28 for 5 litres.

Found a supplier in Northampton called Lubetech, 5 litres, 10w40 4T, with full additive pack, £18.99 delivered inc VAT.

They do oils for outboards, 2 strokes, 4 strokes, diesel, petrol, aviation, marine, agricultural, brake fluids, ATF fluid, the works. So if you are after UK blended oils, to spec, with all the additives etc but at a nice price, try them!

Eurocarparts every time, subscribe to their emails for good discounts they recently had a bogof on oil but just before Christmas I bought 20 litres of triple qx 5w 30 fully synthetic c3 oil reduced from £109 to £49.99 and a 15% promo code so five years of oil for £43 quid.

Keep an eye on Amazon as well for the occasional discounts

Sometimes you also get what you paid for, knocked an engine out in week with cheap oil..

It was not cheap in the long run believe me,never do it again, cost arm and a leg to put engine crank etc back to running right.. it doesn't pay..

Absolutely.

My mrs's Suzuki don't use any oil but last change it had castrol fully sympathetic and over winter it was gone! And there is no leaks!

Never again!

Well the Triple qx is made by shell and Halfords oil made by Comma.

If they meet the British Standard and are approved by VAG Merc and BMW, what more do you want?

See my earlier post, don't pay through the nose

Morrisons own brand oil is made by Valvoline apparently and its very good. Price is not always a good indication of quality. I have personal experience of so called good garages using very low budget oils but charging the earth. My mate did his apprenticeship at a garage that was a Castrol Approved Service Centre, (this was back in the 70s) everywhere you looked it had big Castrol signs all over it. Most of the oil they used for services came from Woolworths or was the cheapest oil on special offer at the local cash and carry. .
