Polishing a ****...

Recommended Posts

I did a little work on my single barrel Baikal

I use this gun as a lightweight field gun, mainly for when I'm out with the air rifle in case anything flies over.

It was shabby, someone had painted the metalwork black using what looked like tar and the wood was heavily varnished.

I stripped everything using the no ****s given method of the palm sander

The metalwork got a shot of primer

I followed this by airbrushing on a few coats of Olive Drab

Which gives me this

This is as far as I've got as the barrel and stock has been sent to a mate to have something special done...

I really like it, not sure why people take issue with them. It shoots lovely apart from trying to take your shoulder off, but then I'm unsure if that's just because light?

Oh and the woods ****,but who cares really...

i dont use anything heavier than 21 gram................as it is so light if i put a 32 gram in it .ouch !!
