Dougy
I've been seeing the reports on the news about the crops Ben . Not looking good overall. The grass though on some of my perms is rampant, a week ago it was a couple of feet tall, I was hoping for a call or 2 when I got back from France Sunday, looks like I'll be calling them to see how it's going. I'm out tonight on a bit of sheep grazing, just a sit out in the nice weather really. But you never know what may show.

It was such a great time I am booking again. So much sport out there it's hard to know where to start. Lots of wing shooting and took the girly rifle for down time. Organising a baboon specialist for a couple of days for next year as this time I missed out on a casual basis.

bornfree
Got a large dog last night. He had killed 7 geese the night before so I got set up at 9.30pm and by 2am I was struggling to stay awake so I called it a night climbed down from the tower and walked about 300 yards when I heard the geese making a noise so walked back and there he was chasing them around the pen I had to get close to shoot over the fence but he wasn't interested in me he was in killing mode so a nice easy shot at 60 yards. Dougy
Last night's sneaky Vixen. Quite a close one at 115 yds.
bumpy22
Another dog fox tonight so far thats 3 in 3 visits. Baited area sat in the truck with hmr nv spotter and foxpro. Makes it easier than chasing them round on foot in this rain
Donegalcharlie
Just took a vixen an 3 kits an hour ago.. Got one of her kits last night and a dog fox not far away. Went out to the same spot two fields behind my house was hoping I'd see more but didn't expect that result after last night I thought she would have moved the kits. After a bad spell of mishaps on my part, moving not sitting still making noise getting impatient. Every days a school day at this game.. FOXHUNTER1
Well done guys , glad to see that you are still connecting.. I probably wont shoot any until the crops are cleared or maybe some early ones on the golf courses. Unless I bump into one whilst stalking. Rabbits and deer til then............ bornfree
A vixen last night at 1.05 am she turned up at exactly the right spot so a nice 45 yard shot and back in bed by 1.30.
WelshMike
Good work gents. All quiet for me at the moment as the foxes are behaving so leaving them alone for the time being until the cubs are a little bigger. Selling my house so all busy on that front and keeping me away from the rifles. Saying that I am out after the rabbits tonight with a mate so a respite from viewings and tidying up the house. But she went one way an I waited for her to come out from cover only to hear the cubs in the next field put the caller out they didn't take one bit of notice! Walked round an set up job done! bornfree
Well done mate. Amazing what effective little killers they are a such a young age. Iam fairly sure the vixen I got Saturday night was their mother as they came to the same pen. Got a big dog last night he had killed 70 the night before so very pleased to get him. Glad I was sitting up the tower in the dry as it was pouring down all night.
