nicely done a good nights work there ,what colour light you use on your setup mark, did you use rabbit distress call on them

I spot with a red T50 and shoot with a white T67 , works for me.

None of them came to the rabbit distress , I was using Baby red fox which called all of them in except 1 of the cubs which was in the field already.

Went out last night and only saw 1 cub which I lip squeaked in ....

I know what you mean crops all over but I did some reconnaissance last night checking out how ripe the barley fields were, and found a couple of cut grass fields.

I went back home and got my gear for a call on these 2 fields.

1st field I called in a cub followed by the vixen.

2nd field called in a dog fox and 2 cubs.

These fields are about 1/2 a mile apart so still some more to mop up

Cant wait for the stubbles :good:

Well done all, I've been feeling left out. I've had five attacks of gout in the last 10 weeks, no sooner they clear one attack with steroids or colchicine then another came along. So not able to walk let alone get a boot on as I've had it in both feet. BUT :yes::yes:

Last week after the last course it cleared (I hope for a good while) Last night I managed to get my boots on, so camped out at a likely spot where I didn't have to walk and, this one came along just before midnight. Well pleased to be out again.

Result Tonker. Sorry to hear about the Gout.

Just back from hols so have a fair bit to catch up with.

I had a nice Roe Buck last night. Now in the chiller. I was using photobucket for pics but i cannot get picture links to post on here?

A new farm to see in the morning and other farmers after me to shoot roosting doves, jackdaws in chicken houses, and rooks panicking cattle in a yard so plenty to keep me busy.

Rabbits on wednesday night and maybe a fox :good:

Another one tonight, nice and straight forward, spotted her with the thermal, rifle on the mirror of the truck and goodnight :)

Well done mate :good:

Another good night fruity well done.

Rabbits for us with air rifle and 20 in the bag :)

A nice productive way to spend an evening Grant, well done. I spent a couple of hours with a bottle of wine and a 39 page survey showing all the reasons why buying a new place is not straightforward.

Cheers , that's a good bag 20 do you sell yours ? :) .

I had a reasonable bag of bunnies also

21 after someone left early lol. Got a butcher picking them up from me. After not having many rabbits for a while I seem to have half a dozen permissions that have gone mad and roebucks. It has kept me and oowee of the foxes though to be fair. But a new farm friday 275 acres should get us a few

Well done on the dog and hope you got the other one mate :good:

Cracking night. in place at 10.30 a fox shows up at 11.45 but wouldn't stop not interested in the geese just carried on trotting past them. 30 minutes later I spotted 3 over half grown cubs chasing about in the next field. I stayed in place I had a good idea they would come for a goose dinner, and it turned out prefect they all came separately about 45 minutes apart.one at 61 yards the next sniffing his brother and the next at 90 yards. And just before I left I heard the geese run in the pen behind me there was the earlier fox chasing them around got him at 110 yards.Back home by 3.15 am.
