WinchesterDave
Well it was four years yesterday for my girlfirend and I and she has been nagging me to go for a day trip to Kirkby Lonsdale for a while... So that's where we went! The weather was perfect! It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time. Obviously we both took our cameras so here are a few I took:) All images were taken with my EOS 70D and the awesome Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art lens (girlfriends lens) All the best, Dave

Glenlivet
Nice pics, are the first two HDR? I used to live not far from there in Halton. Nice part of the country.

They're not HDR mate no. They're edited RAW files, it's awesome the amount of detail you can recover in post with RAW shadows and highlights are the ones that make a massive difference Cheers Mike

As you say, the 'hidden' detail in raw files is incredible. My D7100 produces 30mb+ files, always fancied the D810. Pixel peeper 😉😉😉
WinchesterDave
Awesome! I'm guilty of pixel peeping mate...... I'm assuming the D810 is full frame? I'd love full frame... 5Dmkiii or the mighty 1Dxmkii lol... I wish ha

I've got mp envy 😣😣
WinchesterDave
One can dream lol! Yes they do indeed; the 5DS and 5DSR - the SR has no anti-ailsing (or however your spell it) filter to produce even sharper images! However.... Images the size of those raw files lol! Brilliant for landscapes and portrait etc... Think that's what they're aimed at doing mainly.

Guttersnipe
Great Pics Dave but if you go to Devils bridge you have to jump off, especially if the sun is shinning - i had a misspent youth up there, jumping off the bridge and poaching a few brownies from the river for a fry up. Great story as to why its called Devil's bridge, you can see his claw prints in the rock below where he threw himself off....
