Cant hit them all
I got my haix at a trade fair for half price but they are ubber comfortablefrom day one. I have given up on boots for 40 to 60 pound range. All i use now are haix or redbacks and how I look at the haix it cost me 100 pound for my new pair and they last me 12 to 15 months on avarage so it's like 2 pound a week. But haix are covered by 2 years warrenty and will replace them as Long as you clean and Polish them regularly Edited September 20, 2016 by Cant hit them all

kennett
I had haix chainsaw boots at a previous job, they are still the most comfortable boots I have ever had. They were a half size, which meant they fitted like a glove and were leather lined.
Danger-Mouse
Seen them about a fair bit but need a local stockist to try on . Bought mine from The Factory Shop. Not expensive, twenty odd quid iirc.
four-wheel-drive
Many years ago when I first left school and got a job in an engineering factory they sold us some lovely shoes with internal steel toe caps they did not look like work shoes they looked quite smart and was very comfy for a while but having wide feet my little toe made the side of the shoe bulge and my little toe would ram in to the edge of the steel toecap in the end I had to bin them I was not best pleased. Vince Green
I have found very expensive boots to be no more comfortable than cheap ones but its a lottery, you don't know until you have been wearing them for a while. I tend to judge them more by weight these days because my feet get tired more quickly in heavier boots.
four-wheel-drive
I need some advice please on work boots. I've noticed my feet are gradually hurting more and more wearing steel toe caps. I've tried all different brands but the pain is getting worse. My middle toes stick out wide plus I wear insoles Help please. 18 years of this is taking its tole on my feet Out of interest are you talking about inside steel toe caps or outside ones I would have thought that outside ones would be better. Wildfowler
I tried ALL the dewalt boots and they are all uncomfortable and fall apart. I then tried cat boots and the best ones they do lasted six weeks and we're still uncomfortable. Meindl chainsaw boots are the way forward! They are expensive but feel like wearing walking boots. You honestly can't feel the steel in them at all, are completely waterproof, breathable and once cleaned look as good as they did the day they came out of the box, and they have outlasted all of the others combined! I can't recommend them highly enough!

four-wheel-drive
I'm thinking more like these... If he had a pair of those he would never get anywhere as he would keep on walking around in circles they are meant for people with one leg longer/shorter than the other.
