LOL Just kidding TD, and he can go and shoot himself a rabbit or 2 for the kid Yes, you're right of course, I'm unlikely to waste away anytime soon As for shooting rabbits -- you know I can't hit a blooming thing unless they're close enough to throw the bloody rifle at them. digger
Let's whack a fiver each Taxi drivers way to pay for a decent bit of meat. You've had a tough year pal, it's not patronising charity, it's making sure one of our stalwarts gets a decent feed 👍
Chris Bb
Let's whack a fiver each Taxi drivers way to pay for a decent bit of meat. You've had a tough year pal, it's not patronising charity, it's making sure one of our stalwarts gets a decent feed I'll go along with that. After all, I'm one of the miserable **** that says charity i) begins at home and ii) shouldn't pay obscene salaries. Anyone know how to organise this? Even if SWMBO does come form Chelmsford! TaxiDriver
Digger & Chris Bb and all, Thank you for the suggestion/sentiment, In some ways I now wish I hadn't replied to the thread, Certainly wasn't my intention for it to in anyway sound like a beg. My current situation is partly of my own doing, Following going back to work after my accident I left the job as I was in real fear of being run over again, maybe killed next time around. I thought I had a job lined up to go to, That fell through and left me unemployed, The kick in the nuts was finding that the NI stamp I paid whilst self employed doesn't count towards Job Seekers Allowance. As I say, There's plenty out there worse off than I
Dougy
TD, Jokin apart if you were any closer I would treat you to a pint and a bag of crisps. Mungler s not far from you, see if he can spare a bit of Christmas dinner for you and your family. I'd just turn up on his door step dinner time. digger
no one saw it as begging. I've been homeless, Christmas day on my own in a cattle barn may be festive but it's no fun ! All offers genuine and more a question of support than anything else. If it makes it easier repay when you are employed ?
