Davyo
Where was this done ? i know when i had a tag purchased through Goldsmiths,it was sent away to be done with the offer of a loan watch.I know most top branded watches are done this way and the cost of batteries😥is well dearer than changing a car battery lol. figgy
How can a quartz battery operated watch need a service ? Thought it was only the complicated mechanical watches that require a service.

sishyplops
I guess they change the seals and the battery, very little else in a quartz watch, I would just buy another box of Christmas crackers if I wanted a battery operated watch Joke it was joke
Del T
Wifes tag went away to the main service place in the UK. We thought it just needed a battery like mine did(did the fast 3 second sweep thing). Anyhow 300quid and 9 weeks later it was back!!! Watch is a 3yr old Tag F1 ! Â Seemed a bit of a con really, it needed a new battery, a new crown,a full service and something else was blocked apparently. Next time it's going to Timpsons for a battery change.! oowee
Does my head in the extortionate cost of expensive make, manufacturer fit, watch batteries and cleaning. I have had three Citizen dive watches and each and every one of them has played up when diving. All have been for service and batteries and cleaning for hundreds of pounds. I don't believe that the quality justifies the cost.
