WelshAndy
http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/18-year-old-shot-dead-12559316 This is about 15 miles from me, nothing like this ever happens round here! It's about a stones throw from Abersoch. Heart goes out to the lads family.
Walker570
Not much information and looks like they were all together in the vehicle. Could be a careless discharge of the gun as it states the lad was a fisherman and shooter. It'll all come out in the wash, as they say. Vince Green
Tragic, it does look like an Accidental Discharge

Walker570
There for the grace etc etc., as the saying goes. Stay safe fellas and don't be ashamed to check each other when guns are being handled. None of us are perfect and I have been lucky a couple of times in over 65yrs of handling guns, due to my own carelessness. Lived to learn. Well this makes a refreshing change for someone on this forum to admit that they have made stupid mistakes all that we usually get perfect people slagging other people off for making mistakes something that we all do in reality. Davyo
Four men have since been arrested in connection with the slaying and were today due to be quizzed by detectives. This is the terminology the press are using SLAYING.
CaptainBeaky
You expect moderate, neutral language from the press? That won't sell many newspapers :(
old man
Tragic, it does look like an Accidental Discharge Not wishing to jerk your chain but I was informed it's a negligent discharge by a senior range officer during a tea break discussion? Davyo
All sounding a bit dodge body in car after midnight in a pub car pack, 4 men arrested. Doesn't sound like a accident at the moment.
TIGHTCHOKE
I was surprised that the 4 men arrested have been bailed when it is being classed as a murder investigation.
WelshAndy
http://www.pointfm.co.uk/llanbedrog-shooting-murder-inquiry-continues/ We are employing experts to help us establish exactly what happened and how the firearm came to be discharged…we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation and the firearm involved has been recovered. Vince Green
In any incidence such as this it would be normal for police to arrest all the people involved, and question them under caution. Until they have completed their enquiries and gathered all the evidence, its simply an unexplained death "under investigation", they can't jump to conclusions. Because of the tragic nature of what happened they will interview loads of people, neighbours, workmates etc look into bank accounts, and all sorts. No stone unturned Edited February 6, 2017 by Vince Green

WelshAndy
Not wishing to jerk your chain but I was informed it's a negligent discharge by a senior range officer during a tea break discussion? This what I was referring to.. They had been on a fox hunt.
