bruno22rf
A recent call from my FEO - "just checking up on a 12g Lewis that you sold to a Dealer in Leics - we don't seem to have any record of where you bought it from". My reply that I have never owned a Lewis nor sold a Gun to a dealer was met with a few seconds of silence before..."Oh, Ah well, I will just scrub that one out then"!!!!! phaedra1106
It's worrying just how often this comes up I had a cal about a Benelli Super Nova, someone down south had registered one with the same serial number as the one I had, probably because I'd sold it to them about 3 months earlier, I'd notified my firearms dept by both email and recorded delivery, they still had no record of it. Then there was the call I had to make asking where my section 1 Benelli had disappeared to from my FAC when it was returned from a variation for something else, 2 weeks later they found it, they'd moved it to my SGC Edited May 25, 2017 by phaedra1106

panoma1
The firearms departments can make as many mistakes as they like seemingly with no accountability! You make a silly error......... and see where that leads! Typical double standards................"do as we say not as we do"
team tractor
I had them ask about a fight at a football match in Manchester I'd had I replied I hate football and I've never been Manchester They said sorry we've mixed the people up and riped the paperwork up lol. He had me panicking for a while. I wish I knew what else is against my name . At renewal I was asked about the problems with my brother, which I said I have no problems with him, not seen him for years as he lives in the US, same interview I had to explain about a gun I've never had, and to top it off as it was renewal I asked for a .22lr to be put back on, which I was told he'd have to check as it's such an unusual calibre.... kyska
Ok you win It astounded me, when I explained that most people have a .22lr he was confused, until he asked if I meant a .22 rimfire, I said 'sort of' but my wmr is a rimfire.
