beanieboy
I subscribe to a few fishing magazines, but I'm not aware of what magazines are available for the rifle shooter. Anyone advise which ones are worth buying?
The Mighty Prawn
If you're mostly interested in rifle shooting there is one called... Wait for it... Rifle Shooter Sporting shooter and sporting gun are also good but more broad in terms of covering many types of shooting and dog work etc
wildrover77
None are worth reading

Scully
Mate subscribes to Sporting Rifle. He used to pass it on to me but like all shooting mag's I find I can only read so much about the same subject before they become repetitive. Month after month becomes same old same old I find. Scully
Yet somehow I have covered nearly 50 rifles in two years Fair enough; reviews are a somewhat different matter, but again, only to a point in my opinion. Almost every gun nut enjoys reading about or looking at a new rifle or shotgun, but I can only read so many articles about deer stalking, a boar hunt, pheasant drive or decoying before they become crashingly boring. Lamping for foxes is a prime example. I can understand a newbie reading them though. I love shooting; but reading about it just doesn't cut it in my opinion. I used to buy most of the shooting mag's at one time; now I don't buy any. To come up with a different perspective on any shooting related subject, month after month, can't be easy. Scully
I have a substantial collection of Guns and Ammo ( some dating back to the 1970's ) Guns Review and Target Shooter. It is bittersweet to look back with nostalgia at some of the firearms I was once allowed to own and use.
Vince Green
You can get rifle shooter,5 issues for £5.00 Delivered. Well worth it for a £1.00 a month. Be careful with that, read the small print. After the five issues, unless you actually cancel it, a full price years subscription kicks in automatically. I got caught with Practical Caravan magazine that way. Took up the offer of three issues for three pounds at a caravan show. phaedra1106
Buying used nappies is a lot cheaper, they're just like rifle magazines "unbiased" reviews, they're both full of ****
