We are migrating to the newest Invision Board available and Teal is still fixing things, but some elements will change and we will advise you of those when he finishes.

The little head and shoulders by your name, is not the MSN symbol (although it does look like it), when this is lit up, that person is online. :good:

Don't know about not being able to reply to adverts, could lead to scammers as no one will be able to see if 30 people have bought the same thing, could mean that there is no record of the first person to say I will and hence lead to people being out bid etc...

Seems be stupid IMHO to have an internet board where you can't reply to threads.

The example given in the thread about time wasters is a bit vague as well, if you advertise something anywhere there will be people who phone up to ask questions but then not buy it. Hence the phrase tyre kickers. This just means that the seller will have to respond to loads of PMs instead of sticking it on the original thread.....

There have been more complaints about this section , than all the other sections put together.

The person who wants something, or has something to sell, or swap, makes their post giving as many details as possible, a picture is a good idea if selling.

Any other member who has a question, or wishes to do business with them, can contact them by PM, or email.

The original poster can go back to their post and amend it if necessary, perhaps with additional information.

It would also be hoped that they could edit it to say that they were no longer interested in buying/selling/swopping, as they have concluded a business deal.

Blocking reply posts on the for sale section sounds iffy to me.

There have been quite a few threads where someone is selling something for £x and someone legitimately and usefully posts an alternative source for less money or a better recommendation or even a word of warning. Irritating to the seller maybe, but useful to absolutely everyone else.

Tell the moaners not to be so gay.

Whenever i click on the Live Chat button all my IE tabs close, whats that all about :good:

I use Firefox, but I have just tried it with Internet Explorer and it worked OK.

If you continue to have problems, we will have another look at it, but it will be tomorrow now.
