Old farrier
Well it's a sneak boat and the reserve is £75 Assume it's watertight and the old seagull works on unleaded 2stroke mix and go for it ask if a life jacket size small is included 😂😂 All the best Of
Lloyd90
They're not legal for waterfowling?
Pushandpull
It is illegal to use a mechanically-propelled vessel (or a vehicle) in immediate pursuit of any wild bird for the purposes of taking driving or killing it. There is not much case law on what exactly this means, but any motor is better off ashore or off the transom of any boat if you are shooting. "There is certainly no place for an outboard engine in puntgunning today and there has not been one by tradition either." - the late Nick Frearson, writing in the last edition of The New Wildfowler. Old farrier
However not illegal to use it to take you to a island to shoot from or to get home Or in a emergency However I believe it should be unshipped and stored safely if in pursuit of fowl Personally don't think it's in the spirit of punting to have one or use it Bit like deerstalkin on a quad All the best Of

BRYAN3
ok its sold so did u buy it bryan? I did buy it. For years I tried to get drawings for building my own. Now have one ready made to ascertain whether I really do even use it. I have lived on a river bank for thirty something years and have never even paddled in or on it. This is a 14ft jobbie with a new cover and oars and the little motor runs, although the racket would get on my t1ts. I am not bothered about actually fowling,it's not my "thing" Anyway it needs a teaspoon full of filler,a drain plug washer and a coat of paint in my chosen colour. At present it is yellow underneath and black upper. I also need to addapt a trailer to carry it.

Hard to get plans for punts There's a few books with dimensions in them and I'm sure if you asked the right person they would have been very helpful Enjoy your time in the punt All the best Of Here's one I made earlier 😂😂 And the one I made before that 😊 Edited July 1, 2017 by Old farrier
Big Mat
Looks more of a sneak boat for inland washes work rather than a proper gunning punt. I was almost tempted but it was far to far for me at the moment
Mice!
I'm also living along a small river, we've all been in it at some point in wellies only so far, there will be some sort of boat at some point, don't tell the wife☺
