slaphead
Apart from the usual, very costly suspects including Harris. Does anyone know of a cheapo supply for bipods with pan and tilt feature such as the TipTop ones in the states? eBay which usually bring the cheap chinese things up first shows nothing at all except for the crazy priced ones. I might have to bite the bullet and buy from USA and get slapped with import and vat :(
steve_b_wales
Deben sell good ones. They are strong and solid. You can't beat a Harris though, but the Deben ones are good value for money
slaphead
The Deben ones dont have the "pan" feature. I was after something more like this: https://peletontechnology.com/product/series-7n-notched-legs-ez-pivot-level-pan-hunting-rifle-bipod/

It also tilts either side.

telf
make one out of a couple b q garden stakes cut down to about 14",bolt together, bit foam padding on,easy to carry, jobs a goodun, you can pan and tilt your gun and its very solid, but cant adjust the legs obviously but it doesnt stick in your back or add extra weight to the gun

Muddy Funker
Buy a harris and buy once..if you don't buy a harris you will wish you had and if you do and wish to sell it you will lose less money than you would selling the cheaper alternative bipod I bought a JSR pan and tilt bipod years ago and it's still going strong. As I've always said here a bipod only holds up the front of a rifle it hardly needs to be an engineering masterpiece.
Muddy Funker
How wrong could you possibly be? Well tell me oh wise one. I've used non harris bipods for years and have had zero problems.

Can you post a link or give me a part number please?! Mine are Harris and they all Tilt, but I was only recently thinking one that pans as well would be very useful. ShootingEgg
Haha, I set myself up for that. Too early in the morning for proof reading! Careful of the 'wise one' as you put it. He has probably tried more bipods than I have had roast dinners..
