Gordon R
Wlad has announced his retirement - so no rematch with Anthony Joshua. He is not the best heavyweight boxer I have ever seen, nor the most exciting, but he has been a dignified champion. His retirement statement is probably something David Haye might aspire to write, but I doubt he ever could. I will miss him.
sako751sg
A great role model and lived a dedicated life to his sport. Glad hes retired and although his last fight was a loss it was a great performance especially for his age.
Mice!
Can only applaud him for knowing when to walk away, could probably make more money and keep going but much better for him this way. We'll done sir

12gauge82
Not the most exciting boxer to watch at times but without doubt one of the most skilled to ever fight in the heavyweight division and absolutely cracking fight to retire. sako751sg
last 2 fights. The hedgehog muncher beat him Aye,i know but i just meant after the performance against AJ its not a major low way to end his career. He was pretty **** against Fury which imo would have been a bad way to end it.

Gordon R
If you have something to say, which you are ashamed of and have to use an alternative derogatory name, perhaps you should not post. It just makes you look prejudiced and stupid.
washerboy
Yes I got a warning for using a similar remark... Or does it depend on who you know 😂😂
12gauge82
Crass. I think Tyson fury said (jokingly) that he eats hedgehogs, I think you might have the wrong end of the stick.

washerboy
He was made to look average in his early days, some famous stunning defeats but then learned to be more defensive and cagey

ordnance
He was made to look average in his early days, some famous stunning defeats but then learned to be more defensive and cagey And despite all the hype about Joshua, klitschko made him look average in their last fight. I am surprised he did not have a last big money fight with Joshua. Edited August 5, 2017 by ordnance
SuperGoose75
And despite all the hype about Joshua, klitschko made him look average in their last fight. I am surprised he did not have a last big money fight with Joshua. I reckon he considered his health to be more important. He is a Savy business man amongst other things and doubt he will have any financial worries. All the money in the world is of no use if you don't have your health. He made te correct decision in my eyes. Don't think he would have beat Joshua in a rematch anyway. He had his chance and really should have put him away in the first fight. panoma1
And despite all the hype about Joshua, klitschko made him look average in their last fight. I am surprised he did not have a last big money fight with Joshua. It stands to reason that as Joshua moves up in class he will be made to look more average/inexperienced, he either improves or ends up on his backside! Whatever you think of Klitschko he had class...... What worries me is his not his inability to protect himself when hurt! Experience hopefully will take care of that!.......but his Brunoesque lack of head movement! Edited August 5, 2017 by panoma1
