Choke coming loose.

OK gun is a Winchester sx3 choke is a kicks high flyer. My choke comes loose after maybe 10 shots in succession, not a problem when normal shooting but on the clays it's a bit of a pain.the normal chokes done up with a key don't come loose. Anyone else had this happen.

I shoot better if I use the same all the time hence using the kicks for clays.

Must add I'm not week either, I usually over tighten most things.

Use a tapered choke key or a thin screwdriver through the ports to give it a nip up. Its what I did with mine.

Did yours come loose before that. Will try some thicker grease,I didnt want to over tighten mine to much. I can use my rubber strap oil filter removal tool to get it tighter, without damaging the choke.

Yes it came loose and without any grease it was slack fitting and turned in very easily the tolerances are not the tightest but never had a problem with it.

Any heavy grease or anti seize will work and make a gas tight seal in the threads just give it a tighten with something and it should stay tight until you want to remove it.
