Kalahari
Best pump out there in my opinion. Try Davey & Son up in Yourkshire. David.
Big Mat
I bought one earlier this year, only put a few cartridges through it but i'm very happy with it

Scrumbag
Best pump out there in my opinion. Try Davey & Son up in Yourkshire. David. Indeed! Very helpful they are too!
a303
They are one of the best pumps out there. 2nd only to an Ithaca M37.
CaptainBeaky
They are one of the best pumps out there. 2nd only to an Ithaca M37. Less cartridge-fussy than a
a303
Aye, true.......
impala59
For the defence! US made cartridges are no problem in the 37, and there has been no real sales drive in Europe from Ithaca, ever! I now have no cartridge issues with any of mine (famous last words!! ) Apparently the current 37's do not have the older models cartridge fussiness. Miroku make the Browning for worldwide sales, I guess they test with all types of cartridge. I love them both, totally different characteristics and feel despite always being compared with one another

figgy
How do they compare to the modern Benelli super nova ? Edited November 1, 2017 by figgy
Kalahari
The super nova is a great piece of kit, if only they ejected on the correct side! David.
Big Mat
How do they compare to the modern Benelli super nova ? I've got a BPS in 10 and a super nova in 12,BPS is a more solid feeling gun, don't think there's much between them to be honest
Scrumbag
Got both. Hard to pick, maybe BPS a bit more refined, Benelli more work horse but no question in my mind the 2 best pumps made today.
figgy
I like the idea of bottom ejection, but the supernova is 31/2” chamber. If one came up local at right price I’d be tempted to try a 10 bore for fowling.
