Dear All,

I have received what I can only describe as a complaint from a member of this forum about some of you using a BASC logo on your postings.

Can I please take this opportunity to make the position clear.

If you are a BASC member and you want to put the BASC logo on your posting to reflect the fact that you are a member, then that is fine by BASC! It is just the same as you putting a BASC car sticker in your car window.

If you are a BASC Trade Member then I would ask thet you use the BASC Trade member logo instead of the 'normal one'.

I hope you do not mind me making this point- but as a complaint has been received I thought it best for me to let you know the facts.

Best wishes

David

I'm glad to hear that, I'll be keeping mine as it is.

Just a thought, but maybe the person we all suspect didnt do it!

No webber has not gone soft,

But there is one person who kicked the whole thing off, and wrote a magazine article about banning rotary decoys.

As far as I am aware this person is not a member of PW, but I may be wrong. There has however been no attempt from that quarter to try to defend any of his arguement to any significant degree on this forum.

Interestingly no one has yet had the good manners, neh, balls to own up to the deed, albeit failed.

If any BASC member needs instruction on how to post the logo I can PM you the instructions that were kindly provided to me by another member ages ago.

Although I admit that I had hunterswind in the frame, I now have it on good authority that he was not responsible for this particular spiteful act, albeit failed.

I am now quite confident of the identity of the faceless opinionated wonder. As detailed in another post I shall ensure that I avoid the purchase of his products in the future, and would urge other PW members to do the same.

The above statement does not indicate that I have kissed and made up with hunterswind, and would appreciate it if the moderators allowed me to make any editing decisions myself, should it be felt that any are required, which I doubt.
