wymberley
Thanks to 12g82 we had a chat about these a year or so back: What's the point in having them if you don't wear them. Mine only comes out when wearing a suit for formal dos or cake and whatsit parties. Pointless! So have just picked up a nice moleskin waistcoat from Ratcatcher plus a very nice moleskin (doe) and a tweed (lichen) one from Peter Christian while I had a few bob spare. wymberley
Regretfully, other than to say go to a reputable jeweller, I can't really help. However, i have no doubt with the PW knowledge base someone will be able to do so. All I can say is that your price bracket probably means a steel - silver if you're lucky - case and in which case (sorry) think American Waltham perhaps. guzzicat
I just put my gold Elgin half hunter & chain away after Boxing day shoot;til the shoot dinner in Feb,then a half dozen similar events over year, always feel good wearing it, I like a half hunter rather than full, but that,s just me. I believe the half is a far more sophisticated watch! It oozes class.
