Cawdor118
Apologies if it's already been done - my M2 doesn't have a FDL. Can any of you enlighten me on whether I can use Hp bismuth? I may sell it if I can't use 3" goose shells.
panoma1
Gun Doesn't need to be superior steel proofed to shoot Bismuth! Edited January 3, 2018 by panoma1
figgy
What chokes does yours take? Plenty wouldn’t give a seconds thought about putting steel through it.
Cawdor118
Happy days, so they should be ok! It's got the one marked with 3 stripes at the moment but I could go up to cylinder.
figgy
Cawdor by what chokes I meant is it Mobil choke or optima etc benelli used both on the M2 over the years. America don’t have steel proofing for their guns and the M2 has been used for many years, don’t hear or read of them blowing the barrels up shooting steel through them. Guest cookoff013
incidently, you can have bismuth cartridges rated to HP, its easy. there is no reason why it cant and there is no legislation. infact through all the cip tdcc cartridge lists it actually does not list shot type. and thats on the cip website. The Heron
If you go on the GMK web site and find your gun there it will tell you if it is steel proof or not.
Lloyd90
Assuming he still needs to use 1/2 choke at most? Thats what I have although normally use 1/4 personally
