H tomlin
Hi all I’ve been shooting a beretta A390 for the last few years it’s a nice reliable gun but I’ve been thinking of upgrading to something a bit more newer. Im mainly rough shooting and decoying what’s people’s opinions on a good choice of upgrade. ATB . H
TIGHTCHOKE
What do you hope another gun will do differently to your A390? Personally I would want a reliable multi-choked short barrelled gun that was light, easy to strip down for cleaning and cycled everything from 21 gramme loads up to 50 grammes
figgy
For ease of use not needing cleaning like gas autos the Benelli semi autos or value for money the Franchi Affinity. You could but a supernova pump like the one for sale in gun sale section. Will cycle anything from 65mm any load to 31/2” 63g carts.

Stimo22
I brought a Franchi Affinity which I now my go to gun, but if you want an "upgrade" from a Beretta you will be looking at the new range from same maker
GingerCat
I wouldn' part with my 390. If however I were forced to then it would be for a newer and lighter version.
Marccus
I own a Browning Maxus but my go to gun is also the Franchi Affinity. Both great guns but the Franchi fits better. The Benneli Supersport will be my next gun though. A fine piece of kit!

Fen tiger
My advice would be stick with your A390, they are a reliable semi auto as i am sure you already know. If you were wanting to get a 3.5 inch for wildfowling, then i could understand the need to change, but as it is the A390 is ideal for what you are doing, and any change will be of negligible improvement regardless of what you buy. Saltings
newer does not mean better just the accountants have got to it to make it cheaper, and charge you more if its reliable and shoots straight why change unless you want a 3.5" steel magnum then extrema 1 or 2 will shoot any length of shell from 24g to 56g reliably
