ShootingEgg
So I found myself missing a few rabbits, put it down to me pulling the shot or not taking my time. But thought id check it. Found that the mod was causing an issue. Now yesterday i thought id sight it with a new mod. And seemed to be getting similar issues but not to the extent i was. Last night when taking the mod off, when it was half off it could be moved about on the thread. Surely this cant be a good sign. Once on the thread it should be still right.. Ultrastu
All mods wobble as you are screwing them up.its the mating with the shoulder of the barrel and the rear of the mod that makes em tight and squares them up true to the bore . (Or should be ) A common issue on some barrels.

bumpy22
the threads can be on the pi$s it is the faces that need to be square where the mod meets the barrel
Walker570
Had similar on my TX 200. Same mod but on my AA200 no problem. Still do not know why.
R1nut
They use the greatest tolerance on both male and female threads so they will feel loose, it's the shoulders that square them up!
welshwarrior
It depends who cuts the threads normally ask for mod and rifle and cut the barrel threads to match the mod. This does away with slop etc and gives the best alignment. However if you have no mod to work go no go gauges do but if you have largest mod thread and smallest barrel thread it will slop about and the shoulder helps cover this vice Verda and the mod won’t screw on. ShootingEgg
Im going to clamp the rifle so its completely still then set it up on a target at 50yrds. And go from there. Take two or three shots and see if the follow each other through same hole.
Graham M
Had my threads cut by Richard Pope and they are nice and firm as they screw into place. Wobbly threads could mean that the centre line is off centre.

Brad93
The shoulder in your barrel is probably not 100% perpendicular to the bore of the rifle. You need to have a gunsmith check it out. Might need rethreading.

Dougy
I have spiggots on some of mine, that way even if the mod works loose they remain squarely on the barrel.
ShootingEgg
Well tried a mod i have just to see and it was shooting fine, so today got a chance to go back to Braces in Bristol, and they swapped it out no problems. So now will be able to get it back shooting straight and bashing the bunnies asap.
