Can i just ask, what is it with the orange hi-viz jackets? iv only ever seen them on pictures from shooters in the US of A

Welcome to the forum :good:

come on daz, the usa lads have to be seen when out shooting because like here they have loonies wandering about with guns who shoot anything that moves, remember they can go for miles when out shooting and might just end up in the cross hairs of a plonker who,s itching to shoot anything.

Something like that Berettaman. In most places in the US "hunter orange" is required for all kinds of hunting except waterfowl, turkey and archery hunting. I overdo it a little because the grouse season overlaps with the whitetail deer season and I don't want some jackanape mistaking me for anything other than what I am. It's the law in most places but not everywhere.

Yo...I think we Yanks look rather dapper in our orange canvas tuxedos! Bright and cheery like. Even the dog looks good in his orange bowtie, don't ya think? :good:
