walshie
My mrs found a dead buzzard in the garden yesterday. Not a mark on it. I read online if you find a dead bird of prey you should phone a number and they tell you how to box it and send it to them. My post office is miles away and next time I'll be over there, the bird will be ripe and 'I can't be bothered anyway. Should I put it in the normal bin, burn it, or is there another option? panoma1
Save yourself the hassle! Dig a hole and bury it!........If they got wind of a dead bird of prey, the RSPB would undoubtedly claim it was shot over a grousemoor in Scotland! Mice!
think its to do with bird flu, if you find a dead bird with nothing obvious. bag it and bin it if your not doing anything with it, probably the cold and Hunger that's done it in. greenergp
I had one i my garden, one evening there was a hell of a racket from a tree in the garden from magpies, the next morning there was a dead buzzard at the base of the tree, it looked unmarked. I’ve found loads of dead buzzards over the years, usually at the foot of those poles with them big transformer thingies on them. Obviously they can’t read. stumfelter
Buzzards are recyclable so should be put in the blue bin.

When the electricity board cut some of the furs aroind power lines near me they found 6 dead in the trees, they say its not uncommon for them to nest near the lines then get zapped. We've got quite a few on our perm, this one looked like it had just died of natural causes.
