Dunkield
Ok guys, if i'm going shopping what do we want Throw a few suggestions my way, as I haven't a clue New thread as this got lost in the other one. We did OK last year, most people brought a little something along to eat, but we seem to have a few more people along this year so this may need a bit of organising, we don't want to overlap or not have enough to go round. I am off my holiday at the weekend otherwise I would pick this up - honest! I am happy to chuck in for any food bought, I will be staying Saturday night and will bring a gallon of beer anyway. And it's OK, I am dieting so just a burger or hotdog or 2 will be fine for me
MC
I will be bringing a keg of mersea's finest ale, and also some venison sausages(probably about 30) and I will be putting a gas barby in the disco.
Axe
I'll be bringing along a trayful of what has become known as the 'Bisley Burgers' and plenty of Sussex' finest ale. Oh and probably some other goodies as well, I know Stuart won't be able to resist.

Dunkield
So if we get enough barbies together, we can just bring our own nosh and beer - that keeps it simple, is that a plan?
deadeye ive
So if we get enough barbies together, we can just bring our own nosh and beer - that keeps it simple, is that a plan? That 's the best plan imo ...............It's simple and I'll bet a £1 to a pinch of salt that we'll have too much to go around anyway ..............The thing is IF hte weather is like last year keeping it all refrigerated ,Especially if travelling down friday night :look: For those that know Bisely well is there a legend on what facilities are on site ..........ie,shops /hours of business etc!! Dunkield
Ive, I don't know of (doesn't meant there isn't of course) any shops on site other than gun shops. There is a bigish Sainbury's out on the A322, which is only 5 miles or so away. Out of the front of the site turn left down to the main road, turn right at the lights and it is a mile or so on your left. Dunkield
I am not sure what time 'clays' and Jenny's open, but they are a couple of onsite cafes, handy to get a cup of tea to wash down Nurofen etc :look: I think they opened up another place last year as well due to the number of people staying over the weekend (bikers not us) And lets not forget the pub up the road with the Latvian lovely behind the bar Either way, I don't think we will starve

henry d
I am not sure what time 'clays' and Jenny's open, but they are a couple of onsite cafes, handy to get a cup of tea to wash down Nurofen etc There are several of the small clubhouses open on Friday and Saturday, morning and evening, for food(and all day for drink :look: )and I have to say the food was plentiful and good. I think if everyone brings enough for themselves then a little sharing and we`re onto a winner, Sainsburys looks good for Saturdays scran but as for drinks Saturday I vote the clubs etc. as the bands were good and the hairy bikers were good company

Ferret Master
I have found 2 disposable BBQ's in the garage that are serving no useful purpose so they can come to Bisley. What's everyone doing for breakfast? Can I get milk onsite for my weetabix or will I look a plonker if I do anything other than fry up some bacon? lurcherboy
Don't forget Mr and Mrs Patels just up the road in the old Army housing estate. I got the bangers and chicken bits there and no one died eating them I imagine the highlight of the eatery will be Axe's bunny burgers LB

henry d
A lot of the clubs do breakfast and are very reasonably priced, I had breakfast there last year on the Saturday, stupidly I decided to get going early on the Sunday and passed on breakfast at Bisley so I ended up being ripped of royally at a service station in the midlands. I would advocate getting breakfast on-site !
