I had it with me yesterday but as you bottled out of the roost shooting, you didn't get to see it. Mind you, you didn't miss much, put about 100 out of the wood when I got there and very few returned. Hence why I didn't ring you. Lack of wind didn't help. You were better off sorting your fireplace out, far more fun than shooting. Cannot wait to use my knife breasting out the few pigeons that I did get. Anyway, to return to this thread, I think that it's a part of an Anglo Saxon ballcock. Got one exactly the same with the name Thomas Crapper on it.
