snow white
Hi lads I sent a deposit of in June for a days shooting the day was for 9 guns max 120 birds. Yesterday’s I had a text saying that they are going to shoot 11guns and 150birds for same money Phoned the lad that organised day and said not happy shooting 11 guns so asked for my deposit back if I don’t get it back do you think I would win in small claims court. I have is email saying 9 guns max in my opinion 11 guns is to much what you lads think. I have been shooting driven game for years on some nice Shoot’s never have I seen 11guns

figgy
You have an agreement in place so he should either honour it or give you your money back. What shoot is it, name them so others don't make the same mistake.

figgy
This ain't looking good, won't answer the phone. You and your team may be forced to turn up to get your money or a shoot as you've agreed.
JDog
If you have a name and address and the arrangements are set out in emails simply go straight to the Small Claims section section of the County Court. An online claim will be £25.

Perazzishot
In theory he has increased the bag pro rata on the basis of 9 guns shooting 13 birds each to make 120. Adding x2 guns and increasing the bag 150 is correct and if he moves up 3 or 4 between drives and stands 2 guns as back guns it can still be an enjoyable day. What will ruin it though if the 2 additional guns get weighed in and shoot far more than their quota. In my opinion you will have to turn up and set the ground rules with the keeper and the additional guns. If that can't be agreed, collect your money and go home you will be holding the cards to a degree as he won't continue the day for 2 guns!
