wigeon jim Posted August 2, 2020 Report Share Posted August 2, 2020 Hi, I drive a 2009 ford ranger and just this last few days after driving a short distance when I get out and touch anything I get a static shock, I can even hear the spark across, anyone any idea why this is happening now, Jim. dead eye alan Posted August 4, 2020 Report Share Posted August 4, 2020 Years ago we had to put ante static straps under the cars to stop this it was a strip of like rubber with a lightning bolt on it that hung down to the ground to earth it, if that makes sense?
