Gordon R
Corbyn played into Starmer's hands. Refused to back track on what he said. Probably Starmer's best chance to rid the Labour Party of the idiots who currently make them unelectable. I trust he won't celebrate by accidentally knocking over another cyclist. The real powers behind Corbyn (who was just a puppet frontman) remain in place. Seumas Milne, Jon Lansman, etc, plus all of the Trades Union Barons such as McLusky. The only one suspended is Pete Willsman - surprise surprise "for matters connected to anti Semitism" and Jennie Formby resigned early in 2020 (when Corbyn was ousted). John MacDonnell is keeping his head well down - and probably Diane Abbott thought the report was out tomorrow.

Suprisingly Jon Lansman comes from quite an Orthodox Jewish background, he must walk a strange tightrope

I suspect he either has or will go back under Starmer. Don't forget that even "Tony Benn" was actually a Lord by birth. He was Anthony Wedgewood-Benn, and on his father's death became Viscount Stansgate. He went through the formal process of renouncing his title and abbreviated Anthony Wedgewood-Benn to plain Tony Benn (but kept the family fortune, the house in London and estate in Essex and used every tax loophole he could to get it all out of inheritance tax when he died). A true socialist to the end.
London Best
Wedge Benn was barmy! But obviously not as barmy as I thought.

Three cheers to that 🤣 All in all a good day, Equality and Human Rights Commission come down hard on Labour and Sir Kier Starmer finally gifted the opportunity to boot out that fool Corbyn. I think a lot of the comrades realise Jeremy is a yesterday man and more valuable to the cause as a martyr.
