samboy
Hi gang. On my Browning barrel i have a yellow and black sticker that was on the gun when i bought it in November. Can the the sticker damage the blueing if left on too long ? Thanks all.
Dougy
You may as well take it off, it wont shoot as well as a Blaser sticker. I really dont think they would put a sticker on that could possibly damage a shotguns bluing. Edited May 12, 2021 by Dougy
JTaylor91
I’m sure I’ve read somewhere of the stickers trapping moisture against the barrel.
222mark
It will come off with a heat gun or hairdryer. don't know why they put them on really, just makes something good look cheap.

I could tell about the time I stuck yellow electrical tape down the barrels of a SxS . The “stickers” boys didn’t laugh then and I still don’t think they’ve seen the joke. steve_b_wales
Any residue left on the barrels can easily be removed using WD40 or thinners.
