mgsontour
Hi all, I want to hang a decommissioned SxS above my fireplace but can't find nice looking hooks to sit it on, has anyone got any suggestions of how to make them or where to buy them? Cheers Edited May 24, 2021 by mgsontour
strimmer_13
In the pub I worked in years ago, the old muzzle loader was held up with some thing like these but bigger and shaped to the barrels and grip. Basically to stop **** heads trying to pull it off but it looked alright and not too obtrusive

strimmer_13
Failing that, there's some perspex ones on ebay for under a tenner or racks turn up every once in a while

I've been after one for a while at the right price so I can put the airguns in and fabricate a locking bar so it can go over the stairs, locked up. Fed up of them taking up the cabinet space

enfieldspares
Curtain irons used instead of tie backs by posh folk. Known as tied backs you'll need large size. https://www.dunelm.com/product/pack-of-2-small-ball-holdbacks-1000075215?defaultSkuId=30240474&branchCode=0380&ds_c=Curtains_Tiebacks+And+Holdbacks_[GOO-LIA-CURTACCES-TIEBACK]&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwr-rg47j8AIVl_hRCh21twOmEAQYAyABEgIKvPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Obviously mounted the right (or rather wrong) orientation. One at the wrist behind the trigger guard the other maybe six or eight inches back from the muzzle?
