Watch selling sites

My other half is after a Cartier 42mm ballon bleu wrist watch. A company called watchesworld.com has one at a reasonable price advertised on Chrono24. Has anyone dealt with them before? Any thoughts on said watch welcome.

I’d swerve Catalogue-esque websites where there’s only generic pictures of the watches. Indeed, what watches do they physically hold and if so where?

There’s no ‘about us’ page which is also very unusual - for example, in the expensive watches game, knowing that you’re dealing with a shop / outlet that’s been around for decades (and before watch prices went silly) does tend to settle people down.

Since Queen to be Kate got a ballon bleu they have been heavily copied too.

I don't know the company you talk about, but I have used watchfinder a few times and have always been happy with the deal I have done including PX.

Bought my Seiko 007 off a website, came shipped from abroad, saved a good amount. 
 

Website was Creation Watches. 
 

They are well known and praised on the watch forums.

I’ve used Creation too. Very efficient and competitive, but like Lloyd 90, I was buying a Seiko diver.

Hello, I had a Seiko for years back in the day , just want something cheap and working, the Timex is a bit chunky but saves taking mobile phone out of pocket, 🤔😁

I have used creation watches in the past, however you are more likely to get snagged for importation taxes than in the past. Dont use them now for that reason.
