squirrel shooter
Hi any recommendations for a food vacume sealer machine. Don't want to spend the earth, just want a basic one to do the job. Thanks in advance

London Best
Only last week we had to replace ours after 25 years of venison packing. My wife sourced the new one from Lakeland Plastics. They had a basic model for £39.95 but we went for the next model up which was £89.95. I vac-packed a Roe with it and so far it hasn’t complained. Walker570
Yep, I would also go for Lakeland. Don't buy cheap. We have a Lakeland and pack maybe 200lbs of fruit / vegtables for the freezer every year and buy a lot of meat in bulk, whole lambs plus three or four munties a year and it does the job. Krico woodcock
The ones from lidl are good.. they will do your job no bother. But Buy plenty of extra vacuum bag rolls , can't have enough.
Jonty
I’ve been using an andrew James sealer for donkeys, it’s on its last legs now but after years of use, I’m going to replace it like for like. They’re about £40. It’ will easily cope with processing and packing a red stag in one session. I did find it got a little overworked when a friend asked if I could bag up some dog food and then turned up with a 20kg sack to pack into individual portions.
