I'd say no, no one is that stupid, it would be political suicide for the group. But it would be interesting to see what the honour guard did if someone approached, I can't imagine it would be nice. I may be in a minority, but I honestly think he should have stayed away. He did not need to be there. Whilst people cite his time of grief, he never seemed to consider his mother when he behaved and still behaves in an arrogant manner. He seems incapable of accepting responsibility. It also seems to me that he is using her death to creep back into public life. He should attend the funeral, but nothing else. I just hope there is no further protest at the funeral. The Queen deserved better from the public, even if she couldn't get it from her son. What he said, in a NutShell.

Whilst I completely agree with most of that, I think that it's right for him to be there , for no other reason, than his mother would have wanted him there . Nobody likes Andrew, but , his mother loved him , and it's her wishes that the public are( mainly ) respecting . I sincerely hope that following the Queens funeral , we never have to see his smug face ever again , and I hope that King Charles understands the way that the public feel about Andrew, and he keeps him firmly out of the way. Minky
OK there are two angles to this.. Free speech and the inappropriate time and place. both are semi valid BUT. one thing that will have hit home is the fact that Andrew is a liability to the firm. Charles and others WILL have heard the heckling and he might be on the scene during the funeral etc. But The firm isn't totaly stupid. they'll give him sort innocuous job like cleaning out annes stables to keep him out of the way. He was trying to get a house on the Windsor estate for one of his daughters to be near Granny so that he could keep VISITING. but Charles and William headed that one off and William moved Kate and the kids in so that they could be near granny. all the game has now changed and Charles has the reins and he has already vowed to slim down the family. On the box tonight there were members of the public who were just holding up white sheets of paper as a mark of protest and apparently plod was stopping that. !! Personally I don't think that the bloke who heckled Andrew will get anything because they won't want that being made into an anti cause. The twerp has been taken out of circulation and its all yesterdays news.
