discobob
I remember comments about people being disappointed by last years event when they had to pay extra for parking - apparently this year parking is included The cynical in me says that they have inflated the price of every ticket by an amount that would far exceed monies taken on parking - but I hope to be surprised For me, that would make my ticket expensive as I get the train there, and free parking at the train station not far from Wrexham

I was thinking of going providing I can get time off work.

Wymondley
Just got home (via the pub), a lot less stands than previous years, and not as busy. Nothing new to see unless you're in the market for optics or NV. Still, it's a day out and a better way to spend Friday than being at work. quentyn
i am just back, my thoughts and observations 1, it was quiet on the Sunday. Not empty but there were no queues all day 2. there were loads of vendors missing ie no maxpedition, no 5.11 none of the unbranded stores with pile it high sell it cheap. 3, it felt smaller than previous years 4, this was the year of NV and thermal - though i didnt see any particularly good show deals on this its getting hard to justify £82.39 ( 2 adults 2 kids) + diesel and food for the day. Dougy
I went Saturday, had a good wonder round, spent a wee bit of money on nothing i wanted ,apart from the want to sit down and a cup of coffee, bumped into a few faces i knew, and a chat with some i didnt, clocked a few You tube celeb's that seemed to be upset due to the lack of red carpet laid out in front as they walked round, and i've sorted out Mr's D's Christmas prezzy. All of which i wouldnt have done sat on my arm chair at home.
discobob
I watched the video below - seemed very little for shotgunners although that W&S setup looked a bit interesting unfortunately they didn't have me on this one (I was on the 2019 one right at the very beginning so all you lot would have seen me 😁)
Rim Fire
I was there yesterday as been said it was quiet to other years there was a lot of NV and Thermal on display all i bought was a rifle case that will take the rifle with the IR fitted to it
quentyn
i realised today what the issue was yesterday, the small EU based vendors werent there at all. None of the weird and wonderful vendors were there it was mainly big corporate stands and UK based shops quite why they werent there i suspect has a lot to do with brexit
roger M1CDQ
1st time I have ever been to the shooting show. barring a tiny stand for Hornaby nothing on reloading shotshells as others have said yes def the scopes and NV a big thing and air rifles. lots of used shotguns. I mainly went to see Raytrade and have a look at the wildfowler sxs and OU.
Tallguy
I went to look at guns as I will shortly be buying some more. Really enjoyed it and bought some cheese and chorizo off a couple of the food traders. Checked out the guns I wanted, now waiting for the S1 to arrive so I can go to the gun shop……
