manthing
I appreciate that each manufacturer will have their own way of doing it but how do I empty a Benelli Premiums Plus? If I yank back on the handle the chambered cartridge comes out but the next cartridge stays in the mag. 🤷🏻♂️ Do I just have to give it a bit of umpf when pulling back on the lever? Don't want to break sumat 🤦♂️
humperdingle
Not sure if it’s the same model, but…
jall25
Pull the handle back Press the button on the side and that should release As an over ride i think you just push and feel the cartridge out of the receiver

Sweet11-87
never been hands on with that particular gun but if its anything like 99% of all the other tube fed on the market pushing up the load gate on the botton and pushing in the little cartridge stop bar on the left side will let the shells out 1 by one feeding out the way they went in so they dont have to be racked and chambered

Dave at kelton
In that first still on the video you can see the silver button that you press to release the cartridge in the mag. I suggest you read the manufacturers handbook.
Wylye
Scully my friend, I just think the previous owner/retailer could have explained how the gun operated before the o.p. was let loose to find out on his own.

Agreed the previous owner/gun shop should have demonstrated…..maybe they did, maybe the op forgot. End of the day everyone has to start somewhere and at least the sensible thing has happened….some research and asked the question of those that may be able to help. Could have quite easily got frustrated/not wanted to ask a “stupid question” and put it in the slip/ car / cabinet with two in the mag 🤷♂️
manthing
Thanks for all the helpful replies. @humperdingle especially 👍 I found a strip down and rebuild vid but not that one. I got the gun from a mate who used it a couple of times but didn't get on with it, he possibly didn't know either and neither he or I got an owners manual. I asked here because I thought some helpful soul on here might be able to, well, help. I've tried pressing the little catch in the action but obviously doing something wrong as I really struggled when I tried, fortunately I have space to empty the gun in the field over the lane so it was never a problem. Once again thanks for your help, those that gave it...

Fair enough, but perhaps the OP didn’t ask. 🤷♂️ Most retailers/sellers in my experience just assume someone with a SGC buying a shotgun has a basic knowledge of how it operates, unless they know them to be beginners of course. It’s the same with cars.
