Poor Shot Posted May 2, 2023 Report Share Posted May 2, 2023 There was a pair spotted on a foreshore in S Wales a few weeks back. I don't think it will be long, perhaps 10 years, before they are widespread throughout the whole of the UK. Quite strange that as an invasive species they have a lot more protection on the GL than other native birds. They should be taken as/when seen in the same way grey squirrels are. Apparently, they had escaped from a damaged aviary in Chislehurst,,,, according to a very knowledgeable neighbour 🤷♂️ Did hear their squawking on a fishing trip to the Bridgnorth area a few years ago 🤔 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
