ditchman
excellent............have always been aware that the larger calibre is more subject to wind.............would a different twist rate in the barrel have any benifit ?....good interesting test...very clear visible results... if i had the money and youth i would commision a barrell made to a Whitworth design...and obviously slugs to fit........ Weihrauch17
Great review. I have a 177 12 ft lb Redwolf and it is amazingly accurate.

Ye thanks pal mine is a top rifle just the .25 cal isn't just as good as a .22 in wind but it was all fun. 19 hours ago, ditchman said: excellent............have always been aware that the larger calibre is more subject to wind.............would a different twist rate in the barrel have any benifit ?....good interesting test...very clear visible results... if i had the money and youth i would commision a barrell made to a Whitworth design...and obviously slugs to fit........ Ye Ditch both rifles do shoot well to be fair but in that wind i was actually shocked how the 22 did shape a lot better and the old BSA barrels were also good and my Rapid has an Anschutz barrel on which to me is just a gift from the gods

Morkin
Good shootan Simon👍,good info and a bit of fun, as you know no gun shoots the same, I have an s400 I use for FT and it not Reged but if you put the right pressure in it you will get 50 shots as good as a gun 3 times the money. interesting🙋👍

Mice!
Cracking video, great to see the Rapid still putting the new guns in there place. @wymberley a good example of a mod on fac air, and some great shooting with 22 fac

Can't hear either unfortunately - the MoD don't fork out well North of 700 smackers a month for no good reason. If it goes bang, use hearing protection. If you choose not to YOU WILL REGRET IT.
