holloway
This was an impulse buy ,i have no idea why but just couldn't resist getting it back in nice shape. A nice heavy cast frame and animal plaque, strictly small child size ,a lot more solid than the modern bronze effect ones for sale today. Shambam1962
Very nice refurbishment Chris, well done 👍 You can now sit in the garden, carving your decoys in the sunshine. You can have some bargains on an impulse moment. My wife was an impulse moment 43 years ago and still going strong and refurbished every year 😀
bottletopbill
I would like to know the wood as we have the same bench and now the wife wants it done up . Got to agree as yours looks great another job to the list👍

Old Boggy
You have inspired me to do something with the two cast iron bench end brackets gathering dust in one of my sheds. Will get them sand blasted and set to work accordingly. Unfortunately they don’t have that lovely animal plaque, but should look a bit better and more useful than they are at present. Many thanks for posting. OB
