My dad had been watching a few stubbles close to home during the week and birds a plenty going on them one stubble was over-the  boundary and with the wind direction today thats the field they wanted, great , only place we could get closest to them was on the hedge with our back to that field  so wind was in our face now I hate setting up wind in face but no other choice birds coming from behind and side on  flaring off on the wind  made for difficult shooting but quality shooting   really enjoyed it, tried out some fiocchi  24g 7s steel I didn't think they would be up to the job was really surprised by them and at £61 a slab I may use more of these on the pigeons had 104 on the clicker picked 93

Excellent bag of Pigeons considering the wind was in your face , also my pet hate . I have never used 24 gm cartridges but if they do the job , which they clearly do by what you got today then they are certainly worth giving them a try at £61 a slab .   MM

Strange that , with the same amount of shot and a slightly smaller case you would think they would be slightly cheaper , and £32  difference is quite a jump from £61 , I haven't bought any cartridges for a while but last year I was buying Velocity 28gm for just under £60 , no doubt they have gone up since then like everything else .     MM

Assume they were gamebore.

The fiocchi 20 gauge 24g 5s are £301 (£250 if you can get the vat off) a thousand and they really do the job.

I've had 4 duffers though last batch not enough shot and sunk crimps awaiting a reply why from fiocchi i haven't had any since though.

No there not loaded by lyvale.!!!.

Hi.

Thanks.

I'm picking a load of the fiocchi 24g 5s this morning I'll see if they can get some 7s to try got to be worth it at that price especially less the vat.

Can't see why 7s are so much cheaper though.
