steve_b_wales
Yesterday, my wife and I travelled up to the woodland owned my Mel and his lovely wife, Lin. It was great to see them both, especially after so many years. We were made to feel very welcome, as always. The woodland is brilliant and they have both worked hard to put things in place etc, with more plans for it in the future. I think it was true to say that Mel 'enjoyed' firing my S&W M+P 15-22 rifle!!!! Between us both, I think we got through quite a few 100 rounds of ammunition. I've just checked , and little donkey is missing !!!!!. I knew I should have searched Steve before he left . I always knew that he was an international fine art thief , masquerading as a really friendly bloke from Wales 😄. It was lovely to see you and Angela again yesterday Steve, and both looking so well . A nicer couple you could never wish to meet . It's always nice to spend time in the company of , like minded , and very decent folks mate 👍. That smith and wesson is a fantastic piece of kit mate . I haven't had so much fun since the old pistol shooting days. Don't leave it so long next time Steve , and next time you pop up , I'll show you my fine art collection. ( just dont mention it to ditchman , because he gets very jealous) 😄. Edited August 25, 2024 by mel b3

Kindest regards, OB We got the woodland as a place to relax , but looking after it has turned into another full time job, on top of the other full time job , and running a business 😄. I almost asked Steve if he wanted to swap the woodland for his smith and wesson 😄.

Each to his own, of course, but playing like that with a gun is definitely not my idea of shooting.

I tried almost all types of shooting from target to big game. The rifle used yesterday was mainly bought by me for when I participate in Practical Rifle Shooting. Usually, and in most circumstances, bullets are fired in batches of between 3- 5 rounds depending on the target/s. Using this rifle with Mel, showed him the very fast handling and capability it offers.
