Weihrauch17
I am on my third pair (mail order) and the calf width has shrunk to the point I struggle to get them on where as the first two pairs no issues at all.
Penelope
Aigle ISO Parcours could be worth a look. I did when I changed over from Le Chameaus.
Poor Shot
I have a pair of recent Le Chems that I've had for about 2 and half years. I wear them every day for 6-7 months of the year and on the outside they are still as good as new, albeit dirty and in need of a clean. The inside has worn slightly but that's probably because I have size 9 boots for size 8 feet so my feet do slide around a little on the inside if I'm not wearing extra thick socks. I use them for everything from beating, shooting and wildfowling to working in the garden and walking the dogs. They've done some miles them boots and are very comfortable. A pair a Jack Pyke wellingtons lasted about 4 weeks in the same usage profile before splitting.
archi
My local gun shop recommends the Gateway Pheasant 1 (neoprene or leather lined) he stocks them, Aigle and Le Chamau but wears Gateway. I need to get a full zip pair with a 59cm calf and ideally leather lined so my choices are rather limited!

Similar for me; original pair bought around 15 years ago, and still going strong and still waterproof, though rather cracked now. Been expecting them to start leaking any time, but they are OK so far. Bought a new 'identical' pair when on a very good 'offer' a couple of years ago. Look and feel identical, but not yet pressed into service. I use cheap (under a tenner a pair) short calf Dunlops for odd short jobs, gardening etc. and the Le Chameaus are used when I have a long day, lot of walking, or need the extra warmth (hence how they have lasted so well). Krico woodcock
Decathlon, solognac wellies are far superior to aigles. Half the price.. bought aigles 2 years ago, not fit for any abuse walking through briars etc, they get scored then crack and split. Save your money, Buy the solognac. johnny
Oh dear I’ve just ordered a pair of parcours from decathlon. I will send them back if I don’t like them. In 25years I’ve had 3 pairs of le. Chameus so they have lasted really well, but at £220 a pair they seem bloody expensive although per hour or mile it’s ****** all
udderlyoffroad
Depends which Decathlon Solognac wellies you mean. I’ve got the non-neoprene ones & they’re excellent for general use. Dog walking, mucking out chickens etc. But for a cold traipse across fields at night, NV in hand, I’ve got a pair of Aigle Parcours. Bought on special at of all places the local garden centre. So far lasting well & super comfortable, but obviously only used for ‘best’ so far.

Krico woodcock
I have the tall gusset green non neropene ones €80 euros.. it all depends on what you want. But for me they are far superior wellies for hunting in. I do alot of very rough shooting, usually 3 days a week this Time of year. And the aigle parcours weren't up for that abuse.
