welsh1
As my wife is working tommorow and I will see her early christmas morning we (well my Wife) cooked up a ham and a rolled turkey breast, to save having to do it all on christmas day.Youngest Son has arrived today and will be here till boxing day, so we decided to have a pre boxing day cold meats and pickles, the ham which was cooked in cola and then glazed was amazing, the Turkey just perfect. Pudding was a chocolate log with vanilla liquer cream (not a fan of the cream).

marsh man
Some of these Boxing Days meals look better than the big day , I do have the odd style Boxing Day meal now and again and really enjoy it , but my ( normal ) Christmas Day type of meal is very often a weekly occurrence. Your meal look very nice welsh1 ,using the No 1 catch phase (if only you were closer ) to taste any leftover's which I very much doubt will be any 😛

Lloyd90
We just had a cottage pie with green beans and a thick gravy, followed by chocolate mouse pudding. Looking forward to the Xmas goose 🪿
JohnfromUK
Cold meats and pickles with a jacket potato (with plenty of butter or grated Cheddar cheese) are a favourite for me and will probably be tonight's dinner.

As a kid my dad’s mate was a butcher and always supplied a Capon, which is a castrated rooster. Always preferable to turkey. I haven’t seen any for years. Presumably because chemical castration is banned. Although, in the early 70’s when in Cornwall, a local chap had the pellets and would caponise roosters for Xmas. amateur
I used to cook the family Christmas lunch from the age of 14 onwards and refused to cook turkey, so it was goose or a couple of ducks or the very occasional capon, when I could get it. Nowadays we go to our daughter's, so I eat whatever she serves.
